Adeyemi Adebesin - YEMICONGA Founder
Adevemi Adebesin "YEMICONGA" is a seasoned percussionist born in Lagos, but hails from Abeokuta. He boasts 20 years of experience in performing, recording and teaching African drums worldwide. With a decade-long presence in the music business and event management, he has collaborated globally with various music artistes particularly in African Jazz and world music. Driven by his management, he has collaborated globally with love for music and a desire to showcase the Egba culture. YemiConga has launched a major festival in Abeokuta, offering a unique blend of rhythmic mastery: cultural exploration, and a celebration of the city's history. Join him on this musical and cultural journey, where the beats of the drums resonate with a rich heritage, inviting enthusiasts from around the world to experience the vibrancy of Abeokuta and Báawà through music entertainment by local, national and international Artistes.
